September 11th 2024 at 6:16am Squad 41 responded to the 1100blk of Olive Dr in Antrim township for a house fire. First arriving units reported heavy fire showing from multiple sides and through the roof of the garage. SQ41 was assigned to assist with fire attack on the 2nd floor. SQ41 encountered heavy fire in the knee walls and attic. The knee walls and attic were opened up and crews obtained a hand line and extinguished all visible fire in that space. A 2nd alarm was requested by Command 3 for additional manpower. SQ41 assisted with extensive overhaul and was on scene for approximately 2 hrs.
