Special Unit 44 responding to assist on a mountain fire in the area of the 13000Blk of Lincoln Way West. Units on scene are reporting a large and fast moving fire due to the wind.
“FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Fire crews worked for hours to contain a mountain fire spanning 36 acres in Franklin County on Sunday night.
According to a Facebook post from the Franklin Fire Company, the fire was located near Lincoln Way West in Mercersburg.
The fire was at the top of the mountain between Peters and Warren Townships.”
