**Chimney Fire**

Squad 41 w/6 responded to the 3200blk of Falling Spring Rd in box area 17-7 for a report of thick smoke coming from a chimney. Units found a clogged chimney with high heat temperatures in between the wall surrounding the chimney and in the attic. SQ41 cleaned out the chimney at the stove and used a dry chemical extinguisher. SQ41 also cut a hole in the wall around the chimney to check for extension due to high heat readings. Units were able to clean out the chimney and prevent any extension to the structure.
