**House & Garage Fire 5/29/24**
11:45am – Garage Fire – Engine 45 and Squad 41 responded to the 400 Blk of West Main St. in Fayetteville, box area 7-1. Initial reports were of a 30×20 garage that had smoke and fire showing. E7-1 went on scene with smoke showing. E45 reversed laid supply line to a hydrant approximately 1100ft away. E45 crew assisted E7-1 with fire attack. Units found a small pile of trash on fire inside the garage with no extension. The assignment was scaled back to Co.7.
5:36pm – House Fire – Truck 42 and Engine 45 responded to the 5400Blk of Greenvillage Rd in box area 15-2. Initial reports were of an e-bike battery that exploded, with fire quickly spreading. E13-2 arrived on scene to find a 2 story wood frame duplex with fire showing from the first floor on side A. Truck 42 laddered all sides of the building with ground ladders and separated crews searching both sides of the duplex proving negative. Engine 45 reverse laid to a hydrant to establish a secondary water supply. E45 and TK42 both assisted with extensive overhaul operations. STA4 units operated for approximately 2.5hrs.
