Engine 45 and Special Unit 44 responded to the 2600blk of Warm Spring Rd for a combine on fire in box area 8-04. Ambulance 8-8 advised of a combine on fire spreading to the field. E45 arrived and stretched a line to the combine and field. Engine Tanker 8 and Engine Tanker 18 supplied E45.

SQ41 was alerted for an accident in Co.8’s first due and placed in service while responding from the station.

SQ41 found a 2 vehicle accident at the intersection of Lincoln Way E & Franklin Farm Lane. SQ41 checked on injuries finding none and handled debris clean up.
| 2:45pm – Appliance Fire |
Engine 45 and Truck 42 responded to Mark Dr. For an appliance fire in box area 44-09. Caller reported smoke coming from the switch to their stove when they turned it on. STA4 units had nothing evident on the arrival from the exterior. Upon investigation, E45 found a minor amount of smoke from the outlet to the stove and secured the power. After confirming there was no fire and no extension, the assignment was held to STA4. Units determined the source was a malfunctioning oven.
