**Vehicle Accident w/ Entrapment**

Last night, Squad 41 and Engine 43 responded to Interstate 81 North, mile marker 10.5, for a vehicle accident. Units found a passenger car that was rear ended by a tractor trailer and two patients trapped in the passenger car. SQ41 assisted Squad 8 with extrication in the passenger car. E43 secured the tractor trailer, ensured it wasn’t hauling hazardous materials, and handled fluid leaks. Wellflight 2-8 was landed at Company 8’s firehouse to transport 1 patient. Station 4 fire police handled traffic control and shut down I-81.
